Specifications
This 38mm (38-400) white ribbed (matte top) vented plastic cap features a vented two-piece, pulp-backed heat induction liner compatible with HDPE and LDPE containers. Vented closures are a cost-effective, sustainable solution to help prevent bloating, paneling and leaking as well as extend product shelf life. This cap has a B-Style vent which is suitable for less aggressive formulas combining great value, performance and sufficient venting for a variety of applications. The foil liner offers a tamper-evident seal.

Material:

Polypropylene PlasticPolypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. Distortion occurs between 240° to 270° F. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures.
