Specifications

This drum is a new UN rated 40 gallon taper sided blue plastic open head drum with a cover and metal lever-lock ring closure. This lab pack poly drum has a extrusion blow-molded high molecular weight high-density polyethylene (HMW-HDPE) construction allowing it to be durable, chemical resistant and suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Ideal for safe storage, handling and transportation of hazardous materials, spill containment and cleanup of hazardous materials, original shipping container, bio waste disposal and incineration. The tapered sides make storage convenient when not in use as this poly drum is nestable. Access to the contents of the blue drum is easy as it is open headed. This lab pack drum is not suitable for liquids and must be packed with the appropriate absorbents if contents are leaking.
