37BL45 is a 5-gallon, blue Type II steel safety can for storing flammable liquids. Made of high-grade steel, safety can incorporates maker's AccuFlow technology with Safe-Squeeze trigger that regulates flow rate for safe and controlled pouring. The 11.75" outer Dia. x 17.5" H (298mm x 445mm) safety can incorporates a stainless steel flame arrester that dissipates heat to prevent flashback ignition. As with all Type II safety cans, this container has two separate pouring and filling openings. Pour opening features an attached 9" L x 1" outer Dia. (229mm x 25mm) flexible metal hose. Fill opening has an ergonomically designed lift-lever for easy filling. Powder-coated finish resists chemicals and stands up to rough handling. Sealed lid's automatic positive-pressure relief vents between 3 and 5 psig (0.2 and 0.35 bar) to protect against explosion.
