- This 0.5 micron pleated polypropylene liquid filter cartridge is 10" long. This cartridge has a natural polypropylene core and Buna-N seal as well as a polyethylene netting outer cage. Pleated polypropylene liquid filter cartridges have pleated media for a high capacity and extended service life ideal in applications across industries. This filter cartridge has an efficiency of 99.98%. It features a 222 O-Ring/Flat End end cap.
These pleated synthetic filter cartridges are for use with cartridge filter vessels in a variety of industrial applications including: chemical, electronic, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, coatings, oil and gas processing.
Our configurable pleated polypropylene liquid filter cartridges have pleated media for high capacity and extended service life. These filter cartridges are ideal for sanitary liquid filtration at micron ratings from 0.2 microns to 40 microns with 98.98% efficiency.Key benefits:

Material:
Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. Distortion occurs between 240° to 270° F. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures. The Cary Company has an assortment of polypropylene plastics available for purchase, such as plastic caps and jars, which have a higher tolerance for chemical products.
