Cobalt Blue Glass - Cobalt blue glass provides moderate light protection to light-sensitive products and is suitable for essential oils, natural cosmetics, food products, extracts, and select pharmaceutical drugs. Cobalt oxide is used to create the blue glass. A reduced form of blue glass (blue-green glass) is rare but can be made by eliminating the surfer and using only iron and carbon.
