- 68W432 is the clear 500 ml Corning® polycarbonate (PC) plastic square media bottle with plug seal cap is the best choice when mixing, sampling, and storage is required. Known for being microwaveable and for its autoclavability and strength, this polycarbonate storage bottle is more resistance towards breakage than other plastic bottles and glass. It is also a great space saver, using up less shelf space than similar containers. This square media bottle has been sterilized, making it suitable for immediate use. The cap prevents unnecessary contamination. Media bottles are commonly used in laboratories.

Polycarbonate (PC) is a naturally transparent thermoplastic with high impact resistance and a UV filter. It is a common lighter weight alternative to glass and is prone to scratches. Polycarbonate can be heated and cooled for at least two times without causing significant changes. This lack of degradation and burning makes polycarbonate suitable for injection molding and therefore, applicable for recycling. Polycarbonate is sold commercially in many colors.
