The lid features a 5" opening wide enough for recyclable materials and sloped sides for efficient recycling in high-traffic locations. 56BQ75 is a full assembly 55 gallon black recycling receptacle with a funnel top lid. The unit includes the receptacle, lid, and heavy-duty black liner. The lid features a 5" opening wide enough for recyclable materials such as aluminum cans or plastic bottles while preventing large non-compliant waste from entering the receptacle. The sloped sides of the funnel top lid guide the materials toward the opening for efficient disposal in high-traffic areas such as airports, shopping malls and train stations. The heavy-duty liner has handles and is removable to quickly and easily remove waste from the receptacle when it fills up. It is also economic as it eliminates the need for costly garbage bags.

Made from 100% recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the durable high strength fade-resistant plastic construction is environmentally-friendly and will not rust, peel or chip. It is strong enough for both indoor or outdoor use in locations such as playgrounds, parks, outdoor malls or golf courses. The walls of the receptacle are smooth making them easy to clean. Tapered at the bottom, these receptacles are also nestable and convenient to store when not in use.

Material:

High density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE works well in below freezing temperatures. HDPE heat compatibility varies. Maximum fill temperature is generally around 171°F; however, testing is recommended with your specific product and application.
