56BX72 is a full assembly 55 gallon blue trash receptacle with a 2-way open lid. The full assembly includes the 55 gallon receptacle, 2-way open lid, and heavy-duty black liner. 2-way open lids, also known as dual opening, feature openings on two sides of the lid for waste disposal on multiple sides of the receptacle. They have no flaps and you do not have lift the lid to throw trash away, making them touchless and hygienic compared to other receptacle models. The covering on the top of the lid provides a rain guard to help prevent rain, snow and other elements from entering the receptacle. This receptacle is efficient and easy to use making it ideal for high-traffic locations such as airports, amusement parks, shopping malls, etc.

Made from 100% recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE), this trash can is a high-strength, durable receptacle that can handle both indoor and outdoor environments. The smooth walls are easy to clean compared to slatted alternatives and tapered to allow for easy storage as they are nestable. This unit includes a heavy-duty liner with handles for convenient and economic waste removal as it eliminates the need for costly garbage bags.

Material:

High density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE works well in below freezing temperatures. HDPE heat compatibility varies. Maximum fill temperature is generally around 171°F; however, testing is recommended with your specific product and application.
