Specifications
This reconditioned 55 gallon Coleman blue open head steel drum includes a sponge rubber gasket to secure container contents. Matching Coleman blue cover has a bolt ring closure with 2" and 3/4" fittings. This container's closure holds the cover onto the container by encompassing the lid with a grooved ring that is secured to the drum by tightening the bolt. A calibrated torque wrench is used to confirm proper closure. UN rating ensures drum meets strict wall thickness requirements, and is tested for strength and durability.

  • Bolt ring closure can be secured with a calibrated torque wrench
  • UN rated UN1A2/Y1.2/100 for liquids

Material:

Carbon steel (CS) is metal alloy that is made of iron and carbon. It is known as a cost-effective alloying material. There are four types of carbon steel that vary in strength level: low carbon steel, medium carbon steel, high carbon steel, and very high carbon steel. Engine parts, car body panels, and select knives are made of carbon steel. The Cary Company also has carbon steel IBC tanks, filter vessels, and drums that work well with many liquids.
