26W54C is a 55 gallon composite steel and plastic drum with 2 - 2 Euro Buttress plugs. Our 55 gallon tight head composite drums are designed for packing aggressive and corrosive materials. This 55 gallon steel drum complies with stringent UN regulations and contains a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) liner to combine the strength of a steel drum with the chemical compatibility of a plastic drum. Composite drums are versatile across industries. Please note, composite drums are designed with holes so the air can escape when the plastic drum is inserted. The fill product would be contained within the composite liner.

What is this composite drum made of?
Composite drums contain a plastic HDPE interior and steel exterior to create a drum with the best of both worlds. Due do it’s plastic lining, composite drums are well suited to store chemicals. The steel exterior of composite drums allow for a strong outer wall protection.
