Molded from 3/16" thick and very durable high strength fade resistant polyethylene plastic, these lids provide a safe and low maintenance option for trash and recycling in any location. The all-plastic, professional-grade construction will not rust, chip, or peel, and resists dents. No metal parts to rust or break. The door is counter balanced so it will remain closed.The strong, snap-on lids enable secure, stable stacking. Made in the USA. Optional Lanyard kit includes screws to secure the lid to the receptacle.

Material:
High density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE works well in below freezing temperatures.
