Q & A
Customer Questions
With a 200F set point on the drum, what is the maximum temperature of the surface where operators will have their hands?
Thank you for your inquiry. Although we cannot provide a precise temperature, there is a 1" layer of fiberglass cloth between the heating element and the heating surface that helps protect the operator. This 1" thick insulation not only helps retain the heat and drive it inward toward the drum to heat the drum contents, it also makes it safer to the touch on the heating blanket's outer surface for the operator. Thank you for choosing The Cary Company.
