55 Gallon BriskHeat® Drum Heavy-Duty Insulated Jacket

Full coverage 55 gallon drum insulated jackets/blankets are ideal for reducing heat loss and to help keep contents from freezing in cold temperatures. Easy to use wrap-around design. Designed to wrap around a drum providing insulation to keep the heat exactly where it needs to be. Can be used with a silicone drum heater band to maximize heat efficiency and heat-up time.

*If drum diameter is greater than 22.3", an optional expansion strip may be required.

It says the maximum exposure temperature is 260C. What temperature would the outside of the insulation be if the inner temperature was experiencing 260C? Do you have a thermal conductivity value?

Insulating Quilts are used to keep drums and IBC Totes at certain temperatures when drastic weather conditions, like cold, heat, condensation, and others, could damage the products inside.

What sizes do your Insulating Quilts come in?

Depending on the product (drum, IBC Tote, etc.), we offer Insulating Quilts in a range of 15 and 330 gallons.

Do I need electricity for my Insulating Quilt to work?

No, there is no need for electricity with our Insulating Quilt. All you need to do is secure it to your product!

Are all of your Insulated Quilts waterproof?

No, not all of our Insulated Quilts are waterproof. However, we do have waterproof options available for drums and IBC totes.

Can this be used for a 55-gallon plastic barrel?

Can these drum jackets be used on 55-gallon plastic drums?

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, these drum jackets can be used on both plastic and steel drums. Please note that the recommended operating temperature for poly drums when using insulated jackets is –50°F to 160°F (10°C to 71°C). Thank you for choosing The Cary Company!
