It has a direct drive, which couples the mixer shaft directly to the motor, allowing it to run at a higher speed. It also features a shaft support bearing that helps steady the mixing shaft when in use, reducing wear on the motor. The smaller mixing blades make it a better choice for mixing small batches of lower viscosities liquids and materials. The mixing blades fold down due to gravity and open when in use.
