55 Gallon Drum Mixer, 1/2 HP Air Direct Drive, Clamp Mount, 34" Shaft, 0-3000 RPM (Series 44)

This is a Series 44 c-clamp 1/2 HP air direct drive mixer with a .5" Dia. x 34" L mixing shaft. This agitator has dual 4.5" blades and a variable mixer shaft RPM (0-3000). Series 44 drum mixers are lightweight, portable and feature a smaller ball and socket type c-clamp to allow for precise positioning of the mixer shaft on open top tanks and open top 55 gallon drums.

Direct drive mixers run at high speed and use relatively small blades making them suitable for smaller batch sizes such as 55 gallon drums and lower viscosity products as the mixer shaft couples directly to the motor. The measured blade length is the blade's diameter when extended during operation. This portable agitator features a high-efficiency pneumatic/air motor that comes with a control valve and muffler. Air motors are variable speed so that you can control the rotation of the shaft. Air powered motors are also safe as they are explosion-proof and will not burn out or overheat for a customizable agitator for your mixing needs.

The 55 gallon drum mixer has various industrial applications for paints, stains, synthetics and more. Coupling, shaft and mixing impellers are made with stainless steel.
