55 Gallon Drum Mixer, 1/2 HP TEFC Direct Drive, Clamp Mount, 34" Shaft, 1725 RPM (Series 44)

This is a Series 44 c-clamp 1/2 HP totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) direct drive mixer with a .5" Dia. x 34" L mixing shaft. This 55 gallon drum agitator has dual 4.5" blades and a 1725 mixer shaft RPM. The portable mixer features a smaller ball and socket type c-clamp to allow for precise positioning of the mixer shaft on open top tanks and open top 55 gallon drums. The measured blade length is the blade's diameter when extended during operation.

Direct drive mixers run at high speed and use relatively small blades making them suitable for smaller batch sizes such as 55 gallon drums and lower viscosity products as the mixer shaft couples directly to the motor. The TEFC motor offers increased protection against dirt and moisture compared to open electric motors as it does not allow outside air to circulate freely throughout the interior of the motor. The fan aids in the cooling process to help prevent the motor from overheating.

The 55 gallon drum mixer has various industrial applications for paints, stains, synthetics and more. Coupling, shaft and mixing impellers are made with stainless steel.
