55 Gallon Drum Mixer, 1/4 HP X-Proof Direct Drive, Clamp Mount, 34" Shaft, 1725 RPM (Series 44)

This is a Series 44 c-clamp 1/4 HP explosion proof (X-Proof) direct drive mixer with a .5" Dia. x 34" L mixing shaft. This agitator has dual 3" blades and 1725 mixer shaft RPM. The measured blade length is the blade's diameter when extended during operation. The portable mixer features a smaller ball and socket type c-clamp to allow for precise positioning of the mixer shaft on open top tanks and open top 55 gallon drums.

Direct drive mixers run at high speed and use relatively small blades making them suitable for smaller batch sizes such as 55 gallon drums and lower viscosity products as the mixer shaft couples directly to the motor. X-Proof motors are explosion proof electric motors that are ideal for additional safety when mixing potentially volatile liquids.

The 55 gallon drum mixer has various industrial applications for paints, stains, synthetics and more. Coupling, shaft and mixing impellers are made with stainless steel.
