- Specifications
- This is an air motor drum pump with a 1.5" Dia. x 40" L 316 stainless steel tube and a max flow of 16.0 gpm and max viscosity of 2000 cps. This 55 gallon drum pump is suitable for semi-viscous liquids up to 150° F and can handle many corrosives, flammables, etc. in pure applications. The max specific gravity of this sealed drum pump is 1.80. With a smaller diameter, this drum pump tube can fit smaller bung openings.
The air motor is non-electric and thus has a reduced possibility of explosion from igniting flammable material or combustibles during use allowing the motor to be a safer alternative than standard electric motors. Drum pumps are ergonomic as they can eliminate the need to lift containers during liquid transfer. The 316 stainless steel tube is 40" for use with 55 gallon drums other similar-sized containers. Stainless steel is ideal for flammables such as fuels and solvents compared to plastic alternatives. The discharge connection is a 1" hose barb. This drum pump is sealed making it ideal for pure applications.
