- Specifications
- This is an air motor drum pump with a 2" Dia. x 40" stainless steel tube and a max flow of 7 gpm and max viscosity of 15,000 cps. This low reduction 55 gallon drum pump is ideal for transferring high viscosity materials up to 180° F as it features a progressive cavity design. A planetary gear set reducer allows this pump to provide a smooth and non-pulsating flow. Typical applications include paints, adhesives, oils, etc. in the chemical and coatings industries. The max specific gravity is 1.80.
The air motor is non-electric and thus has a reduced possibility of explosion from igniting flammable material or combustibles during use allowing the motor to be a safer alternative than standard electric motors. Drum pumps are ergonomic as they can eliminate the need to lift containers during liquid transfer. The 316 stainless steel tube is 40" for use with 55 gallon drums, carboys and other similar-sized containers. Stainless steel is ideal for more flammable such as solvents compared to plastic alternatives. The discharge connection is larger than traditional drum pumps and is a 2" hose barb for high viscosity liquids. This drum pump offers quick disassembly for ease of cleaning due to its unique camlock feature.Key benefits:
