This 55 gallon UN rated fiber drum includes a steel cover with a lever lock ring closure. Fiber drums are lightweight and durable, suitable for industries ranging from pharmaceutical markets to food. This drum, which can handle loads of up to 550 lbs., is especially suited for holding powdered or dry granular products. Fiber drums are also known for their full open tops, which allow for quick filling and dispensing. Made of recyclable materials, this drum resists bacterial and fungal growth, temperature extremes as well as axial and radial stress. This drum also includes a 3 mil poly bag to safely store drum contents and is required for this drum to maintain its UN rating.
