56BA81 is a full assembly 55 gallon green granite recycling receptacle with a flat top 4" opening lid. The unit includes the round receptacle, flat top lid, and heavy-duty black liner. The low-profile lid features a 4" opening that is wide enough for recyclable materials such as aluminum cans with the ability to prevent large, non-compliant waste from entering. There is no need to push a door or lift the lid during disposal, allowing this unit to be efficient and touchless for a hygienic alternative to swing top and other models. The lid covers a large portion of the receptacle to allow for an attractive view suitable for indoor high-traffic locations such as shopping malls, movie theaters and other commercial centers.

Made from 100% recycled polyethylene, this unit is durable and eco-friendly. The high-strength, fade-resistant plastic construction has no metal parts and will not rust, chip or peel. This high-volume receptacle is tapered to allow for it to be nestable and stored easily. The walls are also smooth and easy to clean compared to slatted alternatives. Material:

High density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE works well in below freezing temperatures. HDPE heat compatibility varies. Maximum fill temperature is generally around 171°F; however, testing is recommended with your specific product and application.
