This heavy-duty silicone rubber heater band for 55 gallon plastic drums has an adjustable thermostat up to 160° F (71° C). Designed to provide practical, efficient means of freeze protection, viscosity control and maintenance of materials at elevated temperatures, the heating element is laminated between two thick layers of 20 mil fiberglass reinforced silicone rubber. Durable reinforced silicone rubber provides excellent strength and flexibility for long service life. This heater incorporates a grounded multi-stranded heating element that maximizes and evens heat distribution, and offers extra-long service life, durability, and flexibility. Drum heaters are a convenient and effective option for applications such as barrel warming, food warming, gas or oil heating, paint warming, and for heating drums that may contain products with storage temperature requirements.
