This 55-gallon, UN rated reconditioned tight head steel drum features a closed top with 2" and 3/4" NPT plug and flange fittings. The drum has a rust inhibitor to prevent oxidation. UN rated UN1A1/Y1.6/200 for liquids, this drum can be used to ship and store hazardous materials. Drum is available in a variety of colors (see color chart for options). Reconditioned drums must go through a certified cleaning and reconditioning process.

Material:

Carbon steel (CS) is metal alloy that is made of iron and carbon. It is known as a cost-effective alloying material. There are four types of carbon steel that vary in strength level: low carbon steel, medium carbon steel, high carbon steel, and very high carbon steel.
