This heavy tin plating on this drum gives it increased resistance to contamination and meets strict purity requirements making it highly suitable for the food and beverage industry. An economic alternative to stainless steel drums, this white tight head drum has a buff epoxy phenolic lining and 2" and 3/4" nylon fittings with poly irradiated gaskets. Meeting FDA requirements, this tin-plated drum can package a multitude of products including sensitive hygienic formulations and robust hot-fill applications up to 300° F. This drum has a UN rating of UN 1A1/Y1.6/300.
