This is a UN rated black 55 gallon open head carbon steel drum that has a tan-phenolic lining on the inside and a cover with a bolt ring closure. The drum includes two 2" NPT and one 3/4" NPT Tri-Sure style plugs & flanges for pouring and dispensing. The 55 gallon steel drum is UN Rated UN1A2/Y1.7/150 for liquids and UN1A2/X420/S for solids. Use this drum for transporting and storing products. This drum is not FDA Compliant.

Specifications
This is a UN rated black 55 gallon open head carbon steel drum that has a tan-phenolic lining on the inside. The tan phenolic liner, is recommended for solvent and acid resistance products and is formulated to provide good impact resistance. The drum includes two 2" NPT and one 3/4" NPT Tri-Sure style plugs and flanges for pouring and dispensing. It has a bolt ring closure which holds the cover on to the body of the container by encompassing the cover and the top of the container in a groove. The 55 gallon steel drum is UN Rated UN1A2/Y1.7/150 for liquids and UN1A2/X420/S for solids. Open head drums make it easier to work with solids and thicker liquids such as oils, absorbents, syrups, glues, and more and are typically used in situations where frequent addition or extraction of the contents occurs. Use this drum for transporting and storing products. This drum is not FDA Compliant.
