This 6 fl. oz. 63 mm clear straight sided glass jar has a straight profile that can be used across industries, such as packing food, creams, and body or hair care products. It is paired with a 63mm (63-400) gold electrolytic tinplate (tin coated steel) cap with a gold exterior and interior with a knurled edge. The cap’s plastisol liner is used for applications such as food canning and vacuum packing, because it provides a hermetic seal (or airtight seal). Both the jar and closure are recommended for high temperature applications. Additional benefits of glass include excellent strength, weight and compatibility for materials that cannot use plastic containers.
Platisol Liners can handle up to 190° F. Sampling is recommended for withstanding temperatures above 190° F. *It is recommended to clean before use.
