This is a 63mm 63-485 white heavy weight cap with a modified buttress thread profile and pressure sensitive and foam liner. This closure is made of polypropylene copolymer and fits our 63mm bottles and jars. The ribbed-sided design allows for ease of use when removing the lid. The pressure sensitive liner for this heavy duty cap is glued in and provides an extra level of protection than a basic foam liner as it creates an actual seal. This cap is best for use with containers that are holding dry items and thick liquids such as creams and lotions. This cap is not recommended for using with containers holding liquids and oils. Each box includes 525 caps.

Material:

Polypropylene PlasticPolypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. Distortion occurs between 240° to 270° F. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures.
