This purple plastic cap has a ribbed side and matte top. This cap has a continuous thread and features a clean peel heat induction liner. This closure is made of polypropylene (PP) plastic and fits our 70-400 HDPE and PP plastic bottles and jars. The ribbed-sided design allows for ease of use when removing lid. Heat induction liners are a popular choice when a tamper evident air tight seal is needed. It also works well with liquid products.

Cap Liner Type:
Material:
Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. Distortion occurs between 240° to 270° F. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures.
