This is an 8 fl. oz. flint clear economy glass "mayo" jar with a 58mm (58-405) neck size. It has a wide mouth opening, and a popular profile, applicable for use across industries. The jar is paired with a 58mm (58-400) aluminum cap with a white pulp/polyethylene liner, a great general purpose closure. This jar and cap pairing is excellent for food (mayonnaise, nut butter, jam, honey) and useful for products that need a wide opening for dispensing or otherwise, such as powders or candles. Glass offers excellent strength, weight, and compatibility for materials that cannot use plastic containers. (58-400 caps fit 58-405 neck finishes).
