This 8 fl. oz. flint clear economy glass "mayo" jar has a 58mm (58-2020) lug neck, wide mouth opening, and a popular profile. It is great across industries, especially for food (mayonnaise, nut butter, jam) and products that need a wide opening for dispensing. The jar is paired with a gold 58mm (58-2020) universal twist metal lug cap. The cap’s acid-resistant plastisol liner makes an excellent oxygen barrier, creating an air-tight hermetic seal when heated and providing a longer shelf life. This metal cap is ideal for applications requiring pasteurization and sterilization and runs at up to 800cpm depending on cap size and closure feeding systems. Both the jar and cap are suitable for hot and cold filling of various food and beverage packaging applications. Platisol Liners can handle up to 190° F. Sampling is recommended for withstanding temperatures above 190° F. *It is recommended to clean before use.
