Material:
Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures. There are so many containers that I do not end up using for my business because there are black/brown marks that don't come off, edges are physically bent and distorted, and/or excess plastic sticks out from the rims of the container. I've complained about this issue multiple times as I order thousands and thousands of this product but nothing was done to prevent it from happening again. Only thing I received, after countless emails and weeks of waiting, was a refund of a couple of bucks and no apology. They said nobody else ever complained about this issue, which I find extremely odd because that would mean that only the products getting sent to me has these imperfections and I find it hard to believe that to be true.
