The Polar® PB11 is an 82 gallon insulated material handling bin with drain. This insulated bin is constructed of high density polyethylene (HDPE), making it durable and chemical resistant. It also features a removable lid that allows for total access to the bin's contents. This insulated box prevents ice from prematurely melting, keeping the fish or other contents inside at optimum freshness. It works great as an insulated fish box but is also suitable for ice cream, frozen food, dry ice, and pharmaceutical transport and distribution. Polar® insulated fishing boxes are constructed with Wall-Lock technology that connects the inner and outer walls of the fish box to prevent delamination, resulting in a better performing and longer lasting product.

Material:

High-Density Polyethylene PlasticHigh density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE plastic has moderate heat tolerance, with a melting point ranging from 120°F-180°F depending on the product and application. Testing is recommended. HDPE also generally works well in below freezing temperatures.
