Specifications
Size #3 duplex filter bag housings feature a 6" basket depth and are capable of filtering a fluid down to 1 micron size. This duplex housing can also be used for straining particles down to 74 microns when used with a basket strainer. Duplex bag filter housings save time and money as they permit continuous operation meaning one side of the vessel can be serviced while the other is in use. Using a single multi-port valve operating system, simply switch the flow back and forth between the two filter vessels.

This duplex housing features heavy-duty baskets, 316 stainless steel butterfly design valves, adjustable legs, low pressure drops and complete mechanical stops. The four valves offer a bubble-tight closure and can be serviced individually without having to disturb the other valves or piping. Additional options include extra-length legs, liquid displacers, DP ports and 316 stainless steel basket perforation. Configure this size #3 duplex housing to your meet the specific requirement of your filtration or straining application.

Material:

Carbon steel (CS) is metal alloy that is made of iron and carbon. It is known as a cost-effective alloying material. There are four types of carbon steel that vary in strength level: low carbon steel, medium carbon steel, high carbon steel, and very high carbon steel. Engine parts, car body panels, and select knives are made of carbon steel. The Cary Company also has carbon steel IBC tanks, filter vessels, and drums that work well with many liquids.
