Polypropylene bottles have good chemical resistance and are less brittle compared to other plastic alternatives such as polyvinyl chloride and polyethylene terephthalate. PP bottles are excellent for hot fill applications as polypropylene plastic can withstand temperatures up to 165° F. Polypropylene bottles are commonly used for storing food products such as spices, sauces, syrups, etc. Other applications include for pharmaceutical and chemical storage.
