The 26W7PV is a 3/4" Tri-Sure polypropylene vented drum plug with poly irradiated gasket. This closure is designed for use on steel drums and can be applied with a Tri-Sure preset torque wrench (Part # 26WTSP). with a vent, the 26W7PV helps manage any built up pressure due to gaseous byproduct and provides safer storage by preventing potentially unsafe stacking conditions. Polypropylene offers great chemical and high temperature resistance.

Material:

Polypropylene PlasticPolypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures.
