Is this beer cork compatible with standard sized corkers?
Belgian beer bottles and other champagne style bottles feature a wider neck finish than typical beer bottles and are not compatible with all standard sized corkers. These tight-fitting corks require a Champagne corker in order to be inserted into the beer bottle.
What is the shelf life of this beer cork?
These beer corks are recommended for use within 6 months after production date and should be stored in a cool dry location prior to use. Each bag of closures should be used directly after opening.
Is the wire hood required?
A cap and wired hood is also necessary to keep the cork from being pushed out of the bottle by the pressure of the carbonated beer.
Will this beer cork work with any beer bottle?
Beer corks are typically paired with a 750 ml Belgian style beer bottle.
What kind of beers would work best with these beer corks?
Beer corks are recommended for highly carbonated beers such as Belgian-style beers, sours and strong ales.
