The interior surfaces are coated in the ChemCor® thermoplastic which provides superior protection against corrosion from drips and off-gassing from harsh chemicals. Its seam-free surface is free from rivets or fasteners that are easily corroded from seep-through chemicals and the non-porous surface helps in resisting staining. The other safety features include a self-close door that automatically closes if a fire breaks out, double-wall 18-gauge (1mm) welded steel construction, a 2" containment sump, interior ChemCor® liner for corrosion resistance and protection, dual vents, and adjustable shelves. It also comes with a U'¢Loc™ padlockable handle and Haz-Alert™ reflective warning labels. It is coated in an epoxy baked on powder-coat finish for extra chemical resistance.
