1+1 technical cork stoppers are agglomerated corks that have a single-piece natural cork disc glued to the top and bottom to offer a chemically-stable, mechanically-resistant cork stopper intended for wine maturation between two to three years. 1+1 technical cork stoppers are capable of maintaining the necessary concentration of SO₂ to prevent premature oxidation.
