30BD14 is a 44 x 25.5 [CWINE] agglomerated beer cork compatible with Belgian-style beer bottles. [CWINE] closures have been treated with supercritical CO2 technology to removed non-desriable aromatic compounds from the cork. These beer corks are certified with a minimum content of 75% natural cork allowing for good dimension return and easy reinsertion into the bottle. These tight fitting corks require a Champagne corker in order to be inserted into the beer bottle. A cap and wire hood is also necessary to keep the cork from being pushed out of the bottle by the pressure in the carbonated beer. See below for compatible products.
*[CWINE] closures are recommended for use within 6 months after production date and should be stored in a cool, dry location prior to use. Each bag of closures should be used directly after opening. *Requires a Champagne corker for insertion and a cap and wire hood to keep the cork in place.

Key benefits:
Designed to be used with Belgian beer bottles
Made with natural cork material
Preserves flavor and maintains carbonation
Corking Beer Bottles Many high-carbonation beers require a cork and wire cage for bottling. Corking and caging champagne and Belgian-style beer bottles requires special equipment as the glass tends to be thicker than wine bottles and the cork should only be pushed half-way into the bottle. Belgian beer bottles and other champagne-style bottles feature a wider neck finish than typical bottles and are not compatible with all standard-sized corkers. Champagne floor corkers and some bench corkers are ideal for compressing the larger cork into the bottle to the correct depth. The beer may cause the cork to mushroom further as it carbonates, and a wire hood is required to keep the cork secure.
