The 38BD20 is a 1/2 HP air direct drive agitator that works with both IBC totes and 55 gallon drums. It includes a plastic IBC tote cap, designed for use on all industry-standard IBC totes. It also features a 1/2” Dia. x 35” L 316 stainless steel agitator shaft and a 5" collapsible 3‑blade axial‑flow propeller, allowing easy installation through standard 2" NPT drum bungs or 6" IBC center caps. Built with SS hardware and USDA-approved sanitary motor paint, this agitator is fully-assembled, individually tested, and ready for use.

Material:

Stainless steel 316 (SS316) exhibits excellent corrosion resistance. It has an oxidation resistance of 1600°F for intermittent service and 1700°F during continuous service. SS316 is often found in pipes and coils, as well as food preparation and laboratory equipment. The Cary Company has tense strength 316 stainless steel drums, which are able to resist against breaking when under strain and corrosion.
