21WES2 is a 5 micron, size #2 (7.06" x 32") extended surface pleat polyester felt liquid filter bag with a galvanized steel ring. Extended surface pleated polyester liquid filter bags offer an extended service life of about 4x the life of a standard nominal bag under normal operating conditions due to their two layers of pleated nominal polyester felt. These filters can reduce operation costs as they do not need to be changed as frequently - reducing downtime, cutting labor costs and replacement filter fees (PES5P2SH-ESP).

- The Cary Company's configurable extended surface pleated polyester liquid filter bag offers an extended service life of about 4x the life of a standard nominal bag under normal operating conditions. With a design for longevity and high dirt holding capacity, this pleat bag filter features two pleated layers of nominal felt to create a pre-filter and final filter inside a standard Size #1 or Size #2 bag. Extended surface pleat bag filters can reduce operation costs as they do not need to be changed as frequently - reducing downtime, cutting labor costs and replacement filter fees.
Extended surface pleat polyester filter bags will fit into most Size #1 or #2 strainer baskets. With micron ratings from 1 micron to 100 micron, these silicone-free bag filters are suitable for a wide range of applications including: quality assurance, product isolation, product standardization and more. The polyester filtration media has good chemical resistance and meets FDA regulations for food contact under CFR21, Section 177.1520.
