Specifications

The 30WSTZ is a 1 gallon 32mm F-Style can with REL opening. It is UN Rated to UN3A1/Y1.2/100. Also known as a square or oblong can, it has a rectangular body and base, making it space efficient for shipping and shelving. Popular uses for F-Style cans include thinners, motor oils, adhesives, lighter fluids, solvents, insecticides, turpentine. This metal container has a layer of tinplate mill oil, often referred to as TMO or protective oil, applied to tinplate coils, serving several tightly controlled functions across corrosion protection, processability and surface quality. Freshly produced tinplate is highly susceptible to oxidation, especially at cut edges and micro-porosities in the tin coating. Mill oil forms a thin hydrophobic barrier that limits oxygen and moisture contact, reduces the risk of “white rust” (tin oxide formation) and preserves brightness during storage and transit.
