Why agglomerated cork?
Agglomerated corks are high quality composite corks made from natural cork granules resulting from the production of natural cork stoppers and a synthetic glue. With a primary component natural cork, agglomerated closures share many of the same characteristics of natural cork stoppers at a much more cost effective price.

Agglomerated corks are generally used for short periods of bottled wine maturation under 2 years, making them highly suitable for lower priced and high turnover wines on the market. As these corks are a result of the agglomeration of an agglutinating substances and cork granules, agglomerated corks feature a uniform appearance that is homogeneous within a batch for a consistent closure.
