This 38mm gold buttoned metal lug cap has an acid-resistant plastisol liner and fits 38mm (38-2000) neck finishes. This plastisol liner provides an oxygen barrier that helps extend the product's shelf life. The safety button feature on the center of the cap provides a tamper-evident seal. This button releases or pops up when the container is opened and the vacuum seal is broken. The universal lug closure is suitable for hot and cold filling of various food and beverage packaging applications, including pasteurization and sterilization.

What does a plastisol liner do?

Metal lugs with a plastisol liner provide a hermetic seal that works perfectly with hot and cold fill contents whether it be for pasteurization or sterilization. The plastisol liner is acid-resistant and provides an oxygen barrier that helps to extend a product’s shelf life.

What types of glass containers are compatible with this metal lug cap?
