- This 38mm gold buttoned metal lug cap has an acid-resistant plastisol liner and fits 38mm (38-2000) neck finishes. This plastisol liner provides an oxygen barrier that helps extend the product's shelf life. The safety button feature on the center of the cap provides a tamper-evident seal. This button releases or pops up when the container is opened and the vacuum seal is broken. The universal lug closure is suitable for hot and cold filling of various food and beverage packaging applications, including pasteurization and sterilization.
