Guardian Precoat Powder for Filter Bags

Guardian Precoat™ is a dry, inert powder that protects filter bags and improves baghouse performance by increasing air flow and decreasing the size of particulate that escapes through bags. This conditioning agent is made from carefully refined natural volcanic rock, and forms a three dimensional, porous dustcake on new filter bags that absorbs harmful moisture, oils, and hydrocarbons while it protects against binding and plugging. To achieve maximum performance, use one pound of guardian precoat for every 20 sq. ft. of filter cloth for a uniform 1/16" protective coating on the filter bags. This is roughly one 30 lb bag per 600 sq. ft. of filter cloth for standard dust collector bags. New bags can be precoated before their first use or continually during operation.
