Polar® PB1545 - 179 Gallon Insulated Bin w/Drain (24 cu ft)

26BA76 is a Polar® PB1545 179 gallon insulated material handling bin with drain. It is made of polyethylene construction and has polyurethane insulation.This insulated box prevents ice from prematurely melting, keeping the fish or other contents inside at optimum freshness. It is a superior fish box but is also suitable for storing or transporting frozen products and F/V traditional fish, recreational marine, recreational hunting, and food distribution applications. This bin features Wall-Lock technology that connects the inner and outer walls of the fish box to prevent delaminating, resulting in a better performing and longer lasting product. Polar® 179 gallon fish bins also feature fork pockets for compatibility with forklifts and low-profile pallet jacks. (This bin is equivalent to the ArcticBin® Arctic 680 Insulated Container)

I would like to get one of the insulated bins for hauling ice cream on a route-multiple stops in a day. Would the PB1545 or PB24 work best for this use? Is one better insulted and/or easier to get in and out of?

These models are both equipped to store and transport frozen items. The PB1545 is primarily designed for fishing/marine applications, however, so the PB24 may be a better option for your needs.
