The InteliHeat® Digiheat drum base heater is suitable for heating steel or plastic drums up to 55 gallons, including smaller containers. Top plate temperatures can be set and clearly displayed on the integral microprocessor temperature controller. The Digiheat may be used by itself to provide heat to the base of a drum. Alternatively, it can be used in conjunction with other products such as flexible heating jackets to reduce heating times.

How do I set the temperature of this drum base heater to Fahrenheit?
Thank you for your inquiry. Please note that the manufacturer STRONGLY advises the customer NOT to access the background menu to change any other settings besides the temperature display using these instructions. This is why the menu is normally locked with a password. If any other settings than the temperature display are accidentally changed and the unit is not operating properly, this will NOT be covered under warranty and all repair expenses will be passed on to the customer.

To change the temperature reading to Fahrenheit, please do the following:
--Hold down P for 5 seconds until r.p flashes.
--Use the arrows to get to 381.
--Press P.
--Use the up and down arrows to find the correct parameter.
--Press P to show the value.
--Use up and down arrows to change.
--When done, press P to return to the parameter.
To change the temperature display to Fahrenheit, the following settings need to be changed:
--i.uP: Change C0 to F0 = °...
