Customer Questions
What is the maximum temperature Part #:30BGWC, 36" x 36" x 39" Galaxy Waste Container, 3,000 lb. capacity, can withstand?
Thank you for your inquiry. This product includes the Galaxy bag and the inner liner. The inner liner has a melting point of approximately 226° F (108° C) and a softening point of approximately 190° F (88° C). The Galaxy bag (bag only) itself is made of woven polypropylene material which has a melting point of approximately 320° F (160° C) and a softening point of around 160° F (71° C). Before putting any waste contents into the Galaxy bag/liner assembly, we recommend cooling the material to at least 140° F (60° C) or lower to maintain the bag's/liner's full strength. Higher temperatures will soften the material and start to reduce the tensile strength of the material. Thank you for choosing The Cary Company.
