This 82mm 82-2040 gold buttoned metal lug cap with an acid-resistant plastisol liner provides an oxygen barrier that helps to extend a product's shelf life. The safety button feature on the center of the cap helps to indicate freshness. The button is released or pops up when the container is opened and the vacuum seal is broken. The universal lug closure is suitable for hot and cold filling of various food and beverage packaging applications, including pasteurization and sterilization (can run up to 800cpm based on cap size and closure feeding system).
