1 Gallon Metal Paint Can with Ears, Bail and Lid, Unlined, 7.688" H (Case Pack)
The 30WC1T is a 1 gallon (128 fl. oz.) unlined metal paint can and lid, generally used for solvents and oil-based products. It can also be used to package and transport coatings, adhesives, mastics and other viscous products.
Any filling temperature above 130°F could create a vacuum in the container and cause side wall paneling.

- Specifications
- The 30WC1T is a 1 gallon (128 oz.) unlined metal paint can and lid. This 1 gallon can is used for solvents and oil-based products. The Cary Company offers accessories for the 30WC1T such as paint can openers, closers, can clips and more. This metal container has a layer of tinplate mill oil, often referred to as TMO or protective oil, applied to tinplate coils, serving several tightly controlled functions across corrosion protection, processability and surface quality. Freshly produced tinplate is highly susceptible to oxidation, especially at cut edges and micro-porosities in the tin coating. Mill oil forms a thin hydrophobic barrier that limits oxygen and moisture contact, reduces the risk of “white rust” (tin oxide formation) and preserves brightness during storage and transit.
